We also like to invite local band The Sidewalks to join in on the fun!! So if you love to dance, sometimes like to dance, like to watch people dance, or not wear pants, then this is the show for you!! The summer has finally arrived and this is yet another great way to get it started!

Adam Puddington will be releasing his new cd "Back In Town" this Saturday, June 28th at Baba's. Brothers Chaffey, and the Orb Weavers(acoustic w/Drea MacDonald) will also be playing. Music will start around 10:30pm.
"On For The Meantime, Adam Puddington proves himself to be a songwriter of uncompromising ability." - The Coast
"Filled with succinct and pleasing songwriting, For the Meantime is a captivating collection of 11 songs that grow on you with
each subsequent listening session." - Exclaim!
"It's the kind of music that gets in your bones, like a good story or a cold chill." - Freightrainboogie.com
Returning for the first time since 2005's critically acclaimed For The Meantime, on Back in Town Adam Puddington has delivered twelve contemplative and wit-sharp songs. Focused around a move from his hometown of Almonte, ON to Calgary and back again, the album strings Canadiana themes throughout. Setting a backdrop for his subdued and poetic writing, Puddington infusing influences as diverse as Gordon Lightfoot and Goin' Down the Road. From the honky tonk guitars of "Let's Go Out Drinking" to the Springsteen-esque build "Don't Hold it Against Me," each song embraces a unique emotion with a warm and expertly delivered country/folk sound.
Puddington is one of Almonte, Ontario's golden sons, and he wears the legacy proudly. Rural Canadiana seeps into his songs, infusing his lyrics with the curious beauty of rivers, wildlife, rosaries and trains. Especially trains, for Puddington's Canada is primarily two different worlds joined by a spine of railway. While his sensibilities are firmly rooted in Ottawa Valley soil, Maritime themes in songs like "Deer in the Headlights" and"Footprints" portray Puddington's affinity for the East Coast. There he found kindred musical spirits in the Halifax scene, performing and recording with the city's most innovative musicians and having his deftly-crafted songs covered by many local artists.
